Senator Angela Paxton Files Bills on Education Opportunity & Parental Rights ahead of Third Special Session

AUSTIN, TX – Today, Senator Angela Paxton pre-filed the following bills to advance education opportunity and parental rights for all Texans.

  • SB 28: Education Freedom for All Texas Students: Universal Education Savings Account Program (SB 2483 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SB 34: Protecting Students from Inappropriate Materials in School Libraries (SB 13 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SJR 6: Parental Rights Constitutional Amendment (SJR 29 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SB 29: Open Enrollment for All Families through Inter-District Transfer (SB 418 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SB 30: Fetal Development Instruction for Texas Students (SB 410 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SB 31: Parental Rights in Districts of Innovation (SB 421 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SB 32: Displaying the 10 Commandments in our Schools (SB 1721 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)

  • SB 33: Charter Schools Facilities Funding (SB 1722 from the 88th Regular Legislative Session)
